About Lauren R. Jahnke

I have always noticed and appreciated the creative and colorful things in life, and I have been selling artwork and making
gifts for a couple of decades. My main artistic interests are mixed media paintings and collages, and creating original functional
art pieces like unique clocks and painted furniture. I am especially inspired by modern and architectural shapes, bold colors,
vintage and found objects, fonts and wording, science and nature, and music--with some whimsy and retro sensibilities thrown
in! I like to combine high creativity with mixed media and multiple methods to make unique creations, while allowing the final
product to still be recognizable, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing.
